New Washington Redskins safety Landon Collins missed the last four games of the 2018 season before hitting free agency thanks to a shoulder injury.
Before joining the Redskins in one of free agency’s biggest moves, Collins had surgery to repair a partially torn labrum.
Naturally, he’s been asked about it since the $84 million contract happened.
“I’m way ahead of it,” Collins said, according to Matthew Paras of the Washington Times.. “It’s definitely on schedule.”
Short, simple and to the point — Collins isn’t worried. The Redskins clearly aren’t either based on the smooth process of getting him to town and locking him up.
The Redskins expect big things from Collins at what was one of their biggest needs. This is even more so the case after they tried to make an offer to Ha Ha Clinton-Dix before he signed with Bears.
