Landon Collins is a Redskin — ‘I don’t feel like I bleed blue anymore’

The scenery around you can often change, but a new home doesn’t always feel like home right away.

For Redskins’ safety Landon Collins, the change has happened quickly — he is now at home in Washington.

“Honestly I feel more of a Redskin now after going through OTAs and after being there for a while, after meeting guys and hanging out with them, having great times,’’ Collins said, via the New York Post. ““I feel like I’m at home with those guys. I don’t feel like I bleed blue anymore.’’

For four seasons, Collins was a staple in the New York Giants’ defense. He made it to three Pro Bowls and racked up eight interceptions while donning the navy blue of New York. Now, in an instant, he was cast off by a sinking franchise who decided it was not in their best interest to pay the safety what he desires.

Collins found a team who knew his worth, and he’s all in.
