Landon Collins going to miss Dunbar and Norman — intrigued by new additions on D

Washington Redskins strong safety and leader of the secondary, Landon Collins, is going to have to get used to a few new faces around him this season.

While he had just spent the 2019 season getting accustomed to the players in Washington after signing with the Redskins in free agency, a lot of those players are now gone. Josh Norman left in free agency, Quinton Dunbar was traded away, and Montae Nicholson was released. In their replacement will stand FS Sean Davis, and CBs Kendall Fuller and Ronald Darby, as well as a number of young players who saw the field briefly near the end of the 2019 season, like Fabian Moreau, Jimmy Moreland, and Aaron Colvin.

While the Redskins defense is stacked, a lot of the questions that plague them are centered around the secondary and how good they will be in 2020. Collins is always solid, but Fuller, Darby, and Davis all have something to prove. If they can find a groove, Washington’s defense could be one of the best in the NFL in 2020.
