Landlady Jackie Fadden has shared a post on Bring life to Little Sutton Facebook page saying how much they will miss running the pub after more than two decades at the helm, reports Cheshire Live.
She said: "What a wonderful last Christmas it has been for us at The Olde Red Lion. We still have five glorious months until we retire.
"No it's not going to be a Carvery, Food house, Restaurant, block of flats or anything else you have heard... Yes! we are going to do our best to make sure it is the same as is...
"If you have a passion for live music and love Little Sutton village and the people that live here as much as we do then you can make an application to run this amazing pub at www.stonegatepubpartners.co.uk/find-a-pub We are leaving for my health reasons and nothing more than that.
"We are also looking forward to being able to be on the other side of the bar with all of you. If you see this post and you don't know the pub or area be assured that it has the best customers you could want in a pub.
"And the staff are amazing too... We will miss it all so much but needs must.. Thank you for the last 20-plus years it's been amazing."
