Land Rover used in targeted ram-raid of West Lothian shop

Police are investigating a targeted ram-raid on a shop in West Lothian .

Officers rushed to the shop on Drumshoreland Road, Pumpherston at around 1.20am on Monday, October 14.

A red Land Rover drove into the front of the shop three times before speeding off from the scene.

Pictures from outside the Scotmid shop shows the extent of the damage to the front of the building.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police in Livingston received a report of a ram-raid at the Scotmid on Drumshoreland Road, Pumpherston around 1.20am on Monday, October 14.

“A red Land Rover was used to drive into the front of the premises at speed three times before driving away when alarms were activated. Enquiries are ongoing.”
