A Land Rover sent thick black smoke billowing across the moors after bursting into flames on the M62 .
Fire crews were called to the eastbound carriageway at Rishworth Moor at around midday on Sunday.
The Defender had caught fire near the exit slip for junction 22.

Footage taken from above shows flames erupting from the vehicle, as well as huge plumes of smoke.
One lane of the motorway was closed off while firefighters tackled the blaze.
Police and Highways England tweeted warning motorists of possible delays, as well as smoke on the carriageway.
An image shared later by police showed the burnt out vehicle on the hard shoulder.
Witnesses say the Defender was towing a caravan at the time of the fire, however that is understood to have not been damaged.
