Lanarkshire woods transformed into a place of magic as fairy walk is held

There was magic in the air at a Lanarkshire park recently.

The Friends of Cambuslang Park held their latest fairy walk, encouraging local children to come along and explore the woods.

While following the trail they met various characters and had an exciting time.

A spokeswoman for the Friends of Cambuslang Park group told Lanarkshire Live: "Another group of fairy excited children came to Cambuslang Park last Saturday to visit the fairy places.

"Following the fairy dust trail, they found the tooth fairy, the good fairy, the naughty fairy, the rain fairy, the forest fairy and many others on the way to the fairy dell bedecked with fairy decorations, which drew gasps of delight from the young visitors.

"They left for home happily clutching their fairy story books.

"We shall now bid the fairies farewell for this year, but we hope to see more of them again next year."

More information on the activities of the Friends of Cambuslang Park can be found via their Facebook page.
