An East Kilbride woman has been jailed after setting fire to the close in the block of flats where she lived.
Gail McFarlane thought neighbours had been talking about her, Hamilton Sheriff Court heard this week.
McFarlane, 47, admitted wilfully setting fire to a cardboard box and other items in Trinidad Way on March 6.
The fire took hold, causing damage to the close, but no one was injured.
McFarlane, now of Juniper Avenue, East Kilbride, also admitted two charges of threatening or abusive behaviour at her former home.
An allegation that she was in possession of cocaine was dropped.

She believed her neighbours were conducting a "whispering campaign" against her.
Mr Scott added: "She remembers setting fire to something, possibly a child's toy."
After studying background reports, Sheriff Andrew McIntyre said only a prison sentence was appropriate.
He jailed McFarlane for five months, backdated to late November when she pleaded guilty to the charges.
The court also heard that she had committed separate offences involving breaching bail conditions and threatening or abusive behaviour while the subject of an anti-social behaviour order.
