An East Kilbride technology firm has picked up a prestigious award for its innovative plumbing system.
It is the icing on the cake for Water Kinetics, which was victorious in the utilities and energy category at the National Technology Awards in London recently.
The company won Energy and Utilities Project of the Year, for its newly launched Eco-Duo plumbing system due to its excellence in temperature retention and subsequent energy efficiency.
The innovative mechanism is effectively a pipe-within-a-pipe system which was brought to the sector by Water Kinectics, which has a team of 23 staff.
The company has bagged a number of awards this year including the Institute of Water (Scottish Area) Innovation Award 2020/2021, runner-up in the Institute of Water (National) Innovation Award 2020/2021 and a finalist in the Building and Construction Association Awards 2021 to name a few.
Formed in 2019 and based in East Kilbride's Fairfield Place, it is proud to be a member of the Made in Britain organisation.
