Lanarkshire techno DJ says postponement of Hydro show 'feels like a bad dream'

One of Lanarkshire's most popular DJs had been forced to postpone his biggest show yet at the OVO Hydro.

Fraser Stuart, who goes by Frazi.er , was due to play the huge arena on December 30 this year.

But with new restrictions in place from Boxing Day that affect large-scale events, the show has had to be postponed.

The gig with fellow DJ Nina Kravitz sold out in 20 hours and was set to be a monumental day for Scotland's techno scene.

The Motherwell DJ told Lanarkshire Live : "This honestly feels like a bad dream, and one of the biggest blows I’ve ever had to take personally.

"I can not put into words how gutted I’m with this news, I’ve literally been working every day on this project for the last three months and committed everything I’ve ever worked for to make it happen.

"The last two years have been full of setbacks, so I’ll take it on the chin and my main focus will be on the re-scheduled dates.

"We already had some backup dates in place, with the amount of uncertainty over the last week.

"The re-scheduled date option will be Saturday, February 12, which on the plus side is one of the best dates on offer.

"All tickets will still remain valid as normal, if you are unable to attend please contact your original point of purchase."
