A Lanarkshire takeaway is getting into the festive spirit by selling toys and goodies with all proceeds going to charity.
The Original Mr Chef, based in both Hamilton and Uddingston, wanted to do something different this year to help out local causes during winter.
They decided to take part in the Hamilton town centre Christmas markets which run every Saturday through December.
Owner of the curry joint Wasim Arshad has set up a stall in the town, displaying a wide selection of unique gifts and toys for locals to purchase and treat their little ones.
He hopes to raise £3000 from his efforts which will be split between four chosen charities, which are still to be decided.
Wasim told Lanarkshire Live : "It's something different this year and the items are all flying out so far.

"The toy market in Hamilton is set up every Saturday with all proceeds going to charity.
"It's different being out in the cold doing it but for those who need the money they will appreciate this effort. A new way of doing it all.
"I even have my 11-year-old nephews involved so they know the meaning of charity too."
Christmas themed gifts are available from the stalls, even some additional advent calendars for those who are still to get one.
Delivery for items is also available where you can enquire on The Original Mr Chef's Facebook page.
The Hamilton Christmas markets in the town centre have so far been a huge success after thousands turned out for the annual festive lights switch on event.
Once all the funds have been collected from The Original Mr Chef's charity drive, the chosen local causes will be announced in the following weeks.
