Bosses at a Lanarkshire shopping centre are hoping to prove they are streets ahead with a new initiative.
Rutherglen Exchange Shopping Centre this week launched a special street market, based on the main floor of the retail building.
Every day there will be different traders plying their wares, giving extra variety and more choice for the area, with jewellery stalls, a vegan and dairy friendly sweet stall and Slimming World among those there.
Rutherglen has had a number of shop closures over the past decade.
The street market will run from 11am to 4pm every day Monday to Saturday with different traders each day.
