Lanarkshire recorded 1151 daily Covid cases on Tuesday, as case numbers continue to rise across the country.
This is an increase of almost 1000 from July 31, when 174 cases were recorded.
There are also 99 people in hospital with Covid, with eight of those being in ICU.
This brings the total number of people in Lanarkshire to test positive for Covid-19 to 71,295.
Three people have also died, bringing the total Covid-related deaths in Lanarkshire to 1394.
The news comes as it is confirmed that 495,533 people over the age of 18 have received their first vaccination in Lanarkshire, with 459,798 having received their second dose.
The First Minister announced that Parliament will debate the use of vaccine passports in some settings including clubs and large gatherings.
