Lanarkshire punks Voodoos to support DMA's on Scottish tour

Fresh off a huge set at TRNSMT festival, Lanarkshire punk band Voodoos are set to support DMA's across Scotland.

Starting on Sunday, the Coatbridge five-piece will open for the Australian band for one night in Greenock and two nights in Edinburgh.

DMA's are known worldwide and have played major festivals such as TRNSMT, Victorious, and Reading and Leeds.

This is a huge opportunity for Voodoos who hadn't played live for over 18 months due to the pandemic until their recent festival performance.

Frontman Piero Marcuccilli told Lanarkshire Live: “We are excited to be part of such a great run of shows. We’ve been big fans of DMA's for years and to get to support them is amazing.

“We met Johnny [Took, guitarist] a few years ago and struck up a good relationship so it’ll be good to see him again and catch up.

“Fans can expect to hear some brand new songs and a set full of energy.”

The Coatbridge band will also headline King Tut's in Glasgow on November 4 for the second time. Tickets are available here.
