An East Kilbride primary school has been busy with a whole host of initiatives for pupils to get stuck in to.
Primary 6 and 7 pupils are enjoying some new roles and responsibilities within the school.
It's vice and house captains have been elected by their peers and have started to set challenges and lead fundraising events for their fellow pupils to enjoy.
Joanne Taylor, from Mossneuk Primary, told Lanarkshire Live: "We know they will be excellent representatives, role models and leaders within the school.
"And following an urgent appeal from the East Kilbride food bank Loaves and Fishes, our house and vice captains were able to help load up the van with all of the generous donations to support our local community.
"We know these are well needed to support families in East Kilbride.
"The P7 pupils are also thriving as play leaders as part of our 'Buddy Builders' programme. This sees our Buddy Builders leading fun activities in the playground with our newest and youngest pupils at the school - with lots of fun being had by all.

"In addition to this one of our P7 pupils, Murray Murdoch, led a fundraising event for Diabetes UK.
"As well as running 100 miles for the charity, he helped to lead a P7 fundraising day where all P7 pupils wore blue and walked, jogged and ran 100 miles raising a fabulous £132.50 for Diabetes UK.
"As we get ready for lots of Christmas fun our house and vice captains will support a Christmas Post within the school as well as helping out with some festive themed challenges as we get into December.
"We are very proud of our senior pupils and the new leadership opportunities they are taking on."
