Lanarkshire police launch appeal to help find missing 53-year-old man

Police in Cumbernauld have launched an appeal to help trace a missing man.

Andrew McFarlane was reported missing on Friday night after being last seen in the Craigside Court area of the town.

The 53-year-old was last seen around 3am on Friday, November 26, with family and friends becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman told Lanarkshire Live: “Andrew is 5ft 11in tall and of stocky build, with short grey hair.

“He was last known to be wearing a black jacket, t-shirt and trousers, with orange Adidas trainers.

“He is believed to have been travelling using his black Audi A4 car, registration VN16 GKX.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101. Information can also be left anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
