Lanarkshire police launch appeal after £12k worth of footwear nicked from retail park

An investigation has been launched after £12,500 worth of footwear was stolen from a commercial premises in East Kilbride.

Officers are appealing for witnesses after fashion-conscious thieves struck at Langlands Commerical Park in the town.

The incident happened between 2pm on Wednesday, December 8 and 7.30am on Friday, December 10.

The haul included a large number of 'Shephy' branded footwear items.

Anyone approached to purchase these items, or have any further information, is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.

Information can also be left anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
