Lanarkshire Police issue appeal for help in tracing missing Larkhall man

Police were today (Wednesday) appealing for assistance from the public to help trace a Larkhall man.

Dean Grenfell was last seen at an address in Oakfield Road, Motherwell, around 1am on Monday, October 7, before making his way to his home address in Larkhall about 2am.

Officers described him as white, 5ft 7ins, of medium build, with short fair/blond hair. He had glasses on and was wearing a blue/grey Adidas jumper and blue trousers. Dean also had access to a silver Vauxhall Astra.

Sgt Kenny Smith, Larkhall Police Office, said: “Dean hasn’t been in touch with any family or friends since that time hence their concern. We know he had left his home in Larkhall, around 2am but he has not been seen since.

“Officers have been speaking to family and friends, but so far no one has heard from or seen him.

“Officers have been checking where he frequents, but so far no trace of him.

“We would ask Dean, or anyone who knows him or where he is, to contact Larkhall Police Office via 101. Please quote reference number 3789 of October 7, 2019, when calling.”
