Motherwell musician Tommy McGuire has announced a gig at King Tuts in Glasgow.
And it will be the singer/songwriter's first show with a full band behind him, as he takes to the famous stage as support for Petty Thieves .
The Lanarkshire musician has released two songs in the last year and is ready to up his game as gigs start coming back.
Tommy told Lanarkshire Live : "The show next month is my first with a band behind me and it feels great.
"The lads are all massively talented musicians and it gives my own music the touch it needs to bring to a live show
"I’ve graced the Tuts stage a few times, a few support slots, and a few acoustic nights over the past few years.
"I still have every single backstage pass sticker on my guitar case - it’s one venue that means a lot to be playing at with its iconic stature and it’s just as exciting every single time."
Tommy released the hit single 'Smile ' in November last year and followed that up with the latest single 'Everything in Between'.
He hopes these shows will be able to show his music off to a new audience, as well as show his fans what the tracks will sound like live.
"Fans can expect to be singing along in full voice, everyone’s telling me they’ve learned the words to Smile , so it is time to prove it.
"After this gig, the focus is only onwards. I’ve missed live shows and hope to do as many as possible either acoustically or with the lads in the band before the end of the year, then we go from there."
