Police in Larkhall have arrested a man in connection with the alleged theft of plant equipment across the region.
The 52-year-old was arrested on Thursday and charged with a number of offences.
The alleged offences included housebreaking, reset and theft of a motor vehicle between October and December this year.
He is due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff court at a later date.
Inspector Tony Gallagher told Lanarkshire Live : “This arrest follows protracted and determined enquiry by dedicated officers in response to activity targeting local business and households within our rural community.
“Our continued operational focus will very much remain on disrupting and detecting anyone involved in acquisitive crime.”
