A Cambuslang man says he is "excited and nervous" ahead of tonight's episode of The Chase - in which he stars - airing.
Simon Moore recently went up against a 'Chaser' for the episode - which airs at 5pm on ITV - to try and secure a big cash win.
And he admits he was nervous filming the show at the time, telling us he was the first member on his team of four to go.
He told Lanarkshire Live: “I’ve lived abroad the last two years, and I watched The Chase over there, but when I came back to the UK, I really wanted to give it a go.
“I was sitting watching it and shouting at the TV.”
The ex-pilot has always been good at general knowledge from a young age and recently won a £10,000 prize on Go Radio’s 10K Taxi competition in December.
Simon says the episode was filmed around four months ago in September before he won the radio show.
And he spoke highly of the show’s host, telling us: “Bradley Walsh is a really nice guy.
"The first thing he did was come up and introduce himself.”
Simon says he plans to watch the show tonight with his family, adding that he is going to his mum’s for 'a wee viewing party'.
But he admits it is strange watching himself on the television, adding : "We’re having a big watch party, so all my family - my wife, my own kids, nieces, and nephews will all be there.
“It’s very weird watching yourself back. I’m going, ‘is that what I sound like’?”
The episode will air on ITV at 5pm this evening.
