An elderly man was taken to hospital on Sunday evening after a crash in East Kilbride.
Emergency services rushed to Greenhills Road in the town after a 61-year-old man appeared to have crashed his car into the roundabout.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesman told Lanarkshire Live : “We were made aware of a crash involving a single car on Greenhills Road around 4.35pm
“One man was taken to Hairmyres Hospital as a precaution. The vehicle was recovered and the vehicle cleared by 6.05pm."
Police confirmed a 61-year-old man has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with a road traffic offence.

Pictures seem to show a black convertible BMW on the roundabout boundary, next to a lamp post.
Pictures also seem to show paramedics and police officers were at the scene.
A source told us: “It was a bright clear day just before 5pm.
“I know the roadworks haven’t been completed, but I’ve no idea how you end up on the side of a roundabout yourself.
“The car was a right state and the driver is lucky the road was fairly quiet and no one else was involved.
"It could have been a lot worse."
