An East Kilbride man has appeared in court in private in connection with two attempted murders.
It is alleged Gerald Stark assaulted a woman to her severe injury and permanent disfigurement, and did try to murder her during an incident on Saturday, October 30.
It is also alleged he assaulted another woman to the endangerment of life and did attempt to murder her in a separate incident on the same date.
The 45-year-old made no plea or declaration in relation to the charges at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday.
He was remanded in custody and will appear in court at a later date.
