A Hamilton home was recently used as a setting for a hit new BBC comedy series.
The plush property in Ferniegair is proudly owned by singer/songwriter Jane Henderson, who kindly offered up her premises as one of the homes used in new television show The Scotts.
The programme shadows a typical family and their chaotic life. Its synopsis describes the wayward fighting Scotts family by saying "They say blood is thicker than water – and no-one is thicker than The Scotts."
Professional singer Jane, who is set to star in upcoming comedy show Divas at the East Kilbride Arts Centre later this month, gave up her home for a week in the summer, for the BBC to film the series which stars Sharon Young of Outlander fame, Iain Connell (Burnistoun) and Scot Squad's Louise McCarthy.

And Jane was delighted with the end product after watching the comedy on television.
She told Lanarkshire Live: "The Scotts on BBC Scotland. Best tv show ever!
"Featuring an amazing cast but also featuring my house! I absolutely loved having them here to film. What a blast and amazing to to see my gaff on the tele.
"Thank you to the BBC, was an absolute pleasure to be part of this hilarious series. Please everyone tune in on BBC iPlayer now."

In the show Collette Scott (Louise McCarthy), the tough talking straight to the point sister, lives in Jane's home on screen with her partner Darren played by Rutherglen actor Lee Greig . The home is featured throughout the series with plenty of chaotic family life scenes.
Popular Scots singer Jane can also be seen on tour with Jubillee, live in conert at Motherwell Concert Hall in November. For further details on that or on her upcoming Divas show check out her Facebook page at @janehendersonhq.
