Lanarkshire Guitar and Mandolin Association is holding Hamilton classes in Trinity Church

Trinity Church is hosting rock and pop guitar lessons for young people.

Classes from the Lanarkshire Guitar and Mandolin Association began last week.

They are for young people aged 11 to 18 from anywhere in the Hamilton area and there is still time to enrol.

The sessions are for beginners, intermediates and advanced players. During the 10-week term youngsters will learn music ranging from new bands and artists to classic rock acts. They should have their own guitar (acoustic or electric) but all the learning materials will be provided.

At the end of last term the guitar classes usually perform music for parents and families in Trinity Church, Hamilton. Music ranges from Guns ‘n’ Roses, Green Day, Stone Roses, Oasis, Fallout Boy, Ed Sheeran, Gerry Cinnamon, Arctic Monkeys and lots more.

Lanarkshire Guitar and Mandolin Association is a voluntary organisation that has been running music groups since 1999.

Call Calum Harbison on 07847 250529 or 01475 721048 if you are interested in the classes, or go to www.guitar-classes-hamilton-lgma.com or on Facebook (Guitar Classes Hamilton LGMA).
