Lanarkshire church holds 'Frozen' themed Nativity as part of Christmas celebrations

An East Kilbride church held a Frozen-themed Nativity recently which proved a big hit with all who attended.

The family service at Mossneuk Parish Church had almost 90 people celebrating the peace of Advent together.

There was the children’s 'Frozen' Nativity - a fabulous retelling of the story featuring Mary, Joseph and Jesus plus a few additions in Elsa, Anna and Olaf, who brought gifts of Frank's aftershave, cream and cookies and mirrors!

Mhairi MacLeod, session clerk, told Lanarkshire Live : "We also witnessed as a family the wonderful ordination of Sarah McCallum as an elder at Mossneuk conducted by Rev. Linda Walker which was such a delight to see.

"Then we had café church with hot sausage rolls, mince pies and an ice-cream cart for the children with lots of hundreds and thousands, chocolate buttons, marshmallows and lots more.

"We want to thank the parents for coming along, but also all of those in and through the church that made the event such a success.

"And if Frozen wasn’t your thing there was tonnes going on this Christmas at Mossneuk and we were delighted welcome folk to all or any of them."
