Lanarkshire beauticians aim to raise cash for vital mental health service

A group of Lanarkshire beauty therapists, hairdressers and make up artists are aiming to raise funds for a vital mental health support service.

The four women will host the Galentines Zoom event on Thursday, February 11 which will consist of a beauty and pamper evening.

Organiser Emma Wilson owns Cadzow Beauty Co and has recruited three other locals to help her on the night. These are Lisa at Perfection Wax Boutique and Skin Clinic in Wishaw, Kerry from Kerryblossom in Hamilton & Natalie Bowie MUA.

On the night the girls will lead classes on luxury beauty treatments, such as facials, makeup, manicures and others.

Emma said: "I had this idea after I saw a few other people doing Zoom classes, and I wondered if there was something I could do.

"The LAMH shop is very near my beauty shop, so I asked in there if they thought the idea for a pamper night was good and they got onboard with it.

"All the funds will be going to LAMH, they provide essential services especially at times like this.

"We really want to raise awareness of mental health and show people the support that is out there."

Tickets are still avaliable for the big event, and can be bought on a donation basis by clicking here.
