Lanark swimming star Connor Fallon strikes double gold

Lanark Amateur Swimming Club’s Connor Fallon struck gold twice when he competed for a combined Scotland/Northern Ireland team at the Army Training Corps 73rd National Championships in Lincolnshire.

Connor swam in the junior boys’ section and won two team golds
in 4 x 50m freestyle relay and 4 x 50m medley relay at the meet in Louth.

He also finished fifth in 50m breaststroke final.

The Scotland/Northern Ireland team were overall champions in their category.

Lanark ASC coach Karen Kelly said: “I am very proud of Connor.

“He gives everything in training and is another of our regular early morning swimmers.

“Connor’s success is well-earned.”
