Lanark ASC sister duo take medals from East Kilbride Open

Lanark Amateur Swimming Club’s McArthur sisters were once again in amongst the medals, this time at the East Kilbride Open Meet.

Abbigail McArthur won the 15/16 200m backstroke, while Millie was third in the 11/13 years 200m backstroke.

Anya McLaughlin, Cameron Bruce, Euan McLeod and Connor Fallon all set new personal best times at the event.

Coach Karen Kelly said: “Abbigail and Millie are two of the most committed swimmers to all our training sessions, and deserve their success.”
