Lana Del Rey has appealed for help and offered a financial reward after she and her family had their belongings stolen over the Christmas week.
The singer/songwriter wrote on Twitter that she is eager for “family mementos” and original artwork by her sister, Chuck Grant, to be returned.
“This week, family mementos including my sister’s entire retrospective were taken,” Del Rey wrote.
“I’d love to encourage whoever took it to please consider sending any of the scans of her previous work back to us for a no questions asked reward.”
She continued, “The work we lost can’t be reproduced and exists nowhere but where it was.”
Del Rey’s younger sister is a professional photographer, whose work has appeared in publications including Rolling Stone and Vice.
Del Rey, whose recent album Norman F***ing Rockwell is one of The Independent’s best albums of 2019, last week announced the forthcoming release of a “freestyle poetry” spoken word album.
Half of the album’s proceeds will be donated to Native American organisations, Del Rey also confirmed.
