'Lampard will get it right, Wolves win' - Pundits clash over Chelsea's trip to Molineux

Chelsea have struggled for stability in the Premier League so far this season, winning just one of their last three matches under Frank Lampard's guidance.

The Blues have so far only managed to see off Norwich City, dropping points against Sheffield United and Leicester City, while also suffering defeat at the hands of Manchester United on the opening weekend.

A clash with Wolves, who are gearing up for their Europa League venture this week, is certainly not going to be an easy task and a trio of respected pundits are not convinced

You can see what they had about Lampard's side and the match below.

Mark Lawrenson - 2-1 ( BBC )

Chelsea have played well in parts of all their games so far, but they have been ordinary for parts of all of them too.

There is nothing wrong with the Blues' attacking play under Frank Lampard, but they have some improving to do at the back.

They make too many mistakes and are probably too easy to get at when they haven't got the ball, so it is imperative that they make more use of N'Golo Kante as a shield in front of their defence.

I am confident Lampard will get it right though.

This is a tricky one for Chelsea, because I really rate Wolves and the way they play, but I just have a feeling the Blues will edge it.

Michael Owen - Draw (BetVictor)

Both sides are in European action next week, but this is a vital league game with Chelsea already seven points off the top having thrown away two points at home to Sheffield United last time.

Wolves played their part in a five-goal thriller at Goodison Park in their last match, but they returned home empty-handed and are yet to win a league game this term for all their successes in the Europa League.

That said, I take the hosts to keep the points in another entertaining clash.

Charlie Nicholas - 2-1 Wolves ( Sky Sports )

Wolves do well against the big teams. Tammy Abraham has been in form and Mason Mount has been spectacularly good.

Chelsea are still vulnerable at the back and will be threatened by Diogo Jota and Raul Jimenez up front.

I see Wolves beating Chelsea this weekend, and Wolves are the team, as many people that are talking about Leicester, that could definitely override the top-six trend.
