Chelsea fans can start planning for next season with the 2019/20 Premier League fixtures released on Thursday morning.
The Blues will start the campaign away from home for the second successive year with a tricky trip to Manchester United on the agenda.
Whereas in the past supporters have had to wait until the start of July to find out what games will be televised, it has been revealed that the match at Old Trafford will take place on Sunday, August 11 at 4.30pm.
Chelsea then face Leicester City the following week at Stamford Bridge, with games against newly-promoted Norwich City and Sheffield United completing the first month of the season.
With the Blues looking set to have a new manager at the helm once again with Maurizio Sarri expected to head back to Italy to take on the top job at Juventus, Chelsea legend Frank Lampard is the odds-on favourite to return to west London.
The 40-year-old really made a big impression during his first season in management at Derby County, and he did actually lead his side to victory over Manchester United with a penalty shootout win in the Carabao Cup at Old Trafford.
Given the rumours that the former midfielder is set to return to Chelsea and the fact they will be up against the Red Devils on the opening day, supporters are predicting a great start to the campaign at the Theatre of Dreams.
