LaMelo Ball is a star.
There’s no denying it.
From the way he plays to the way he dresses off the court, LaMelo is someone who always catches your eye.
As of Tuesday, Ball has blessed the cover of GQ Magazine, where he discussed his journey to the NBA and growing stardom, which he always knew he’d reach.
“My whole life, I always knew I was going to the NBA. I always knew,” LaMelo said. “Everything about this felt normal to me. I knew I’d have stardom. I grew up into it. I already had my life planned out.”

LaMelo grew up in the limelight after his oldest brother and newest Chicago Bull, Lonzo, became a high school superstar in Chino Hills. From LaVar Ball’s launching of Big Baller Brand to their show on Facebook, ‘Ball In The Family’ to eventually skipping high school and college to play professionally, the LaMelo was sprung into stardom.
“My whole life, I thought I was the star….I ain’t even gonna say I’m a rock star. It’s something other than that. I’m something rare.”
That’s fitting, being that ‘RARE’ can be seen on the bottom of LaMelo’s debut signature shoe, MB1.
Something rare, indeed.
