Lamborghini driver crashes £150,000 vehicle into car wash leaving it a crumpled mess

A Lamborghini driver crashed a £150,000 vehicle into a car wash.

The luxury sports car was seen in a crumpled mess after smashing into the side of the shop unit and smashing the property's windows.

The accident happened in Shoreditch, east London on Tuesday afternoon leaving the red Lamborghini Huracan in a sorry state.

People in the area reported hearing a "loud bang similar to an "engine revving" before the smash.

The area has now been taped of by a police cordon and the loud crash left the luxury car completely wrecked.

MyLondon reports a witness near the scene thought someone was revving their powerful engine before hearing "a loud bang"

"Turns out this pillock drove his Lamborghini into the office."

The woman later told MyLondon : "It’s the side of the Fora Shoreditch building just off Great Eastern Street.

"I only heard it, but the guy was revving his engine then there was a loud bang, sounded a bit like the car backfired, but it’s clearly where he lost control and ditched it into the doors.

"Happened a couple of hours ago and I saw the damage when I went or get lunch."

Another witness said: "He was coming out of the car wash and hit the building. The man and lady [in the car] are okay."

Twitter users commenting on the crash joked it was "an expensive car wash".

One social media user wrote: "What an absolute waste. If you can't handle the speed don't drive it."

Photos taken from later in the day show the car being towed away from the building.

The Metropolitan Police were not called to the scene.
