Lamborghini caught speeding at 130mph on M32

Police were led on a high-speed chase along the M32 by a Lamborghini - which topped 130mph after failing to stop.

Officers from Avon and Somerset Constabulary were called into action last night (July 4) after the person at the wheel of the pricey supercar allegedly carried on when asked to pull over.

The driver then allegedly nearly doubled the speed limit on the M32 in Bristol, before being detained by police.

They will now appear in court charged with various driving offences, police said.

Posting a picture on Twitter, AS Police Road Safety (RPU) said: "This Lamborghini failed to stop for us tonight in Bristol. It reached speeds of 130mph+ on the M32.

"However we all know the story of the Tortoise and the Hare. Tortoise 1, Hare nil.

"Driver will be put before the courts for various driving offences."
