Lambeth stabbing: Teen arrested after 18-year-old knifed to death in south London

A murder investigation has been launched after an 18-year-old man was found with fatal stab injuries in south London.

Police were called to Corrance Road in Lambeth just before 2pm on Thursday to reports of a stabbing.

Paramedics battled to save his life but the teenager was pronounced dead at the scene at 2.41pm.

A 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of murder in nearby Tremadoc Road shortly after police arrived at the scene. He has been taken into custody.

The victim's family have been informed and a crime scene has been put in place.

Scotland Yard said enquiries are ongoing.
