Lambeth shooting: Teenage boy, 15, suffers 'life-threatening' injuries as he is gunned down in south London

A teenage boy has been rushed to hospital after being shot in south London.

The victim, 15, was in a “potentially life-threatening condition” after the shooting in Lambeth on Tuesday night, police said.

Police and paramedics were scrambled to Unity Close after reports the boy had been shot.

The victim is said to have walked away from the scene but he was found with gunshot injuries and taken to hospital where he remained last night.

There have been no arrests.

In a statement on Twitter, Lambeth police said: “The hospital’s initial assessment of [the] victim is that his condition is potentially life-threatening.

“We await a further update.”

Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call police on 101 using the reference number CAD 7799/jan22
