Lambeth blues

A Lambeth blogger is an unhappy with his Council's plans for "paving over a great swathe of Brockwell Park". Said blogger wrote to Boris hoping for help, and is now unhappy with him too:

Our delightful f***king mayor, unsurprisingly, [is] unwilling to get involved in the issue as Lambeth is "highway authority and the traffic management authority for the junction concerned" and is 'therefore responsible for the design and development' of the scheme. Apparently, the Mayor fully appreciates my concerns and has asked "Transport for London to work with the borough" and he says he will "only use my legal powers to overrule borough decisions as a last resort subject to advice from officers."
