In spite of being the best team in the league at the current moment, the Baltimore Ravens will play in just their first Monday Night Football game of the season. They’ll take on the Los Angeles Rams and look to extend their winning streak to seven games, including three against playoff-caliber teams.
The writers here at Ravens Wire are pumped and with that excitement comes some pretty bold predictions. As we do each week, every writer here at Ravens Wire will toss out a prediction for the game that is pretty outlandish but still plausible.
Matthew Stevens:
Lamar Jackson runs for 100-plus yards

Jackson hasn’t gone over 100 yards on the ground since Week 7 and it’s time to change that. I think Los Angeles will feel like they can contain him better than other teams and get caught clearly underestimating Jackson’s prowess on the ground. He’ll break off a few first-down runs but it’ll be two big game-changing scampers that go on his highlight reel for the season and put him firmly over 100 rushing yards.
In doing so, he’ll be just the fourth quarterback to do so on Monday Night Football, helping to cement his legacy further.
Neil Dutton:
Marquise Brown and Miles Boykin will find the end zone

Wide receivers haven’t done much scoring against the Rams this season, but that’ll change this week. Brown will get behind the defense for a long touchdown, while tight coverage on tight end Mark Andrews in the red zone will open up things for Boykin to find the paint.
Vasilios Nikolaou:
The Ravens don’t let Rams DT Aaron Donald get a sack

The Ravens’ offensive line has been the picture of consistency all season thus far. And the coaches have surely implemented every idea possible into their gameplan to stop Donald. He won’t get a sack and even if he does manage to get close, Lamar Jackson will do what he almost always does: vanish into thin air.
Kevin Oestreicher:
Marcus Peters gets two interceptions against his former team

I’m 100% on Peters interceptions as a bold prediction, so why not do it again, but get a little more bold? Peters will be looking to stick it to his former team and the way Jared Goff has been throwing the football lately, it’s not crazy to expect a high turnover count from this Ravens defense. I think Peters is more aggressive than usual tonight, resulting in a couple of highlight interceptions.
Wola Odeniran:
Lamar Jackson throws for over 400 yards

When people talk about Jackson and what he can and can’t do, many think he’s just a runner who can’t throw. Jackson has 19 touchdown passes this season with a completion percentage of 66.3% and a passer 106.3 passer rating. Those are MVP caliber numbers.
Jackson isn’t a running quarterback or a pocket-passing quarterback. He’s a complete quarterback and he’ll show why tonight by throwing for over 400 yards for the first time in his career.
