When the Baltimore Ravens play host to the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, there will be a meeting that is only occurring for the second time in NFL history.
The reigning MVP, the Ravens’ Lamar Jackson, will be playing against the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, Joe Burrow of the Bengals.
How infrequent is such a duel? How about it is the second time in league history this has happened.

Joe Burrow vs Lamar Jackson will be just the 2nd starting QB match-up in NFL history between the reigning Heisman winner and reigning NFL MVP.
The 1st instance came in 1971, with reigning MVP John Brodie (SF) defeating reigning Heisman winner Jim Plunkett (NE)
