Lamar Jackson in the concussion protocol after big hit in the end zone

This night has gone from bad to worse for the Baltimore Ravens. After another terrible snap from center Patrick Mekari, quarterback Lamar Jackson chased down the loose ball only to be hit by multiple defenders in the end zone and stayed down on the ground.

Jackson was taken to the locker room and will be replaced by undrafted free agent Tyler Huntley. The Ravens announced Jackson is in the concussion protocol.

It has not been a great night for Jackson, who has been harassed all game long by an aggressive Buffalo Bills defense. Jackson has completed 14-of-24 passes for 162 yards but threw an interception in Buffalo’s end zone that was returned for a touchdown on the previous drive.

While the Bills have been aggressively blitzing Jackson and the Ravens’ offense, Mekari’s snaps haven’t been great. Several have already been well off the mark, including two that have gotten by Jackson and rolled around on the ground.
