Lamar Jackson and Ryan Tannehill shared a classy moment after Titans’ stunning win

Lamar Jackson’s historic second season in the NFL came to an abrupt end Saturday night when the No. 1 seed Baltimore Ravens lost to the No. 6 seed Tennessee Titans 28-12 at home.

Jackson, who set the NFL record for rushing yards by a QB in a season, played like an MVP all year long. On Saturday he got off to a slow start before finishing with 365 yards passing and 143 rushing yards. He threw 2 interceptions that hurt a lot, as the Ravens couldn’t claw their way back into it.

But the most important stat was the W/L, which he fell short in.

A lot of stupid people on Twitter were quick to call out Jackson for not being good enough to win on the big stage, which is crazy. At 23 years of age, there are so many teams in this league that would love to have their future in Jackson”s hands.

Just take a look at how maturely he handled this loss.

First he and Tannehill had this great moment after the final whistle:

That was pretty classy from both players right there.

Then Jackson faced the music with the media and showed what a leader really looks like as he talked about what his team meant to him:

And he can’t wait to start thinking about next year:

Yup, that’s a leader I’d want to have leading my team for many years to come.

All those who think otherwise after one bad playoff game have got to be kidding themselves.
