Lakers vs. Suns Preview: Can L.A. find their legs in Phoenix?

Who: Los Angeles Lakers (30-32) vs. Phoenix Suns (12-51)

When: Saturday, March 2; 6 p.m. PST; Talking Stick Resort Arena

Where: Spectrum SportsNet

The Lakers will roll into Phoenix on Saturday looking to complete the season sweep over the Suns, but they’ll have to fight fatigue in order to do so.

On Friday against the Milwaukee Bucks, three Lakers played more than 37 minutes, including LeBron James, Brandon Ingram and Rajon Rondo, who played a game-high 39 minutes and 45 seconds. For a couple of guys on the wrong side of 30, that’s a lot of playing time.

If James, Rondo and the rest of the team can find their legs, though, it should be an easy night for Los Angeles. The Suns are the worst team in the NBA and have lost their three previous matchups with the Lakers this season.

Plus, James and Rondo might have extra motivation to play well on Friday because they’ll both be chasing history.

It should be a fun one.
