Lakers vs. Spurs highlights: LeBron’s 27 not enough to beat San Antonio

The San Antonio Spurs completed a sweep of the Staples Center on Thursday night and snapped the Lakers’ four-game winning streak, pulling away in the fourth quarter to win 118-109. The Spurs also upset the Clippers in LA earlier this week.

Prior to the game, the two teams locked arms in solidarity following the horrific events at the U.S. Capitol. This was already the third Lakers-Clippers game of the young season, and while the Lakers entered the matchup 2-0 against Gregg Popovich’s squad, LeBron James’ 27 points weren’t enough to beat the Spurs.

LaMarcus Aldridge led the Spurs with 28 points, DeMar DeRozan added 19, while Anthony Davis had 23 points and 10 rebounds for the Lakers.
