Los Angeles (12-12) is coming off a disappointing loss to the L.A. Clippers in a game it never led. LeBron James returned to the lineup in that game after clearing the league’s health and safety protocol due to a false positive COVID-19 test, so this game should give him, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook a chance to further build chemistry.
Boston (13-11) blew out Los Angeles in the matchup earlier in the season. James suited up for that game, but Jayson Tatum dominated the fourth quarter.
