May 03--Their season may be over, but the Lakers' losses keep piling up.
Free agent-to-be Roy Hibbert has sold his mansion estate in Carmel, Ind., for $2.65 million -- $150,000 less than what he paid for the 11,200-square-foot home four years ago.
Originally built for former Indiana Hoosier and NBA player Alan Henderson, the brick two-story has five fireplaces, hardwood floors and vaulted ceilings -- a feature that likely appealed to the 7-foot-2 Hibbert.
Living and dining rooms, a kitchen with two islands, a game room, a home theater and a lounge with a wet bar are among common areas. An elevator services both floors.
The master suite, one of six bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms, has a pair of walk-in closets and his and hers closets. Tall pillars frame steps leading up to a large soaking tub.
Outdoors, grounds of about 2 acres include an infinity-edge swimming pool and spa. Elsewhere is a screened terrace, an outdoor kitchen and a four-car garage.
The 29-year-old Hibbert averaged a career-low 5.9 points in 81 games for the Lakers this season, his first with the team. The former first-round pick out of Georgetown was an all-star with the Indiana Pacers in 2012 and 2014.
