Lakers post up LeBron in highest-scoring quarter of bubble vs. Kings

No Anthony Davis, no Kyle Kuzma, no problem for the Los Angeles Lakers offense, at least in the first quarter of their seeding game finale against the Sacramento Kings on Thursday afternoon. The Lakers had their highest-scoring quarter of the entire seeding game schedule, scoring a monstrous 40 points in the first quarter of their game against Sacramento.

The Lakers went on a 3-point barrage, the likes of which they haven’t seen much in the bubble, going 8 for 14 from the 3-point line, including three made 3-pointers from Markieff Morris. LeBron James had eight points and four assists in the quarter, as he was working mostly out of the post, which could be a preview of what we will see more of from the King in the playoffs.

The Lakers held a 40-30 lead after the first quarter and enjoyed their best shooting exhibition so far. LeBron James will not play in the second half of today’s game against the Kings.
