Two former stars at the NBA level are looking to get back into the league and LeBron James’ Los Angeles Lakers were one of many teams to take a look at Amar’e Stoudemire and Monta Ellis’ workout earlier this week in Las Vegas.
The always on it Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports was the one who reported on the workout and the Lakers presence, among several other NBA and International basketball clubs.
There are approximately 12 teams attending this evening’s workout in Las Vegas featuring Amar’e Stoudemire and Monta Ellis. Among those are LA Lakers, Golden State, NY Knicks, Oklahoma City, Milwaukee, Detroit and Washington.

The Lakers are still filling out their roster after signing a host of veterans following Kawhi Leonard’s decision to join the Los Angeles Clippers. They have signed several veterans, such as DeMarcus Cousins, Rajon Rondo and Jared Dudley since.
While Ellis and Stoudemire haven’t played in the NBA for a few years, the Lakers interest and LeBron’s affinity for fellow veterans makes it worth keeping an eye on.
