Lakers news: Kyle Kuzma warned for flopping vs. Grizzlies

The Los Angeles Lakers were hit not once, but twice with warnings from the NBA on Saturday afternoon for violating the league’s anti-flopping policy during Friday night’s win over the Memphis Grizzlies. Only a few minutes after the league announced that LeBron James was warned for violating the anti-flopping policy, the league announced that LeBron’s teammate, Kyle Kuzma, had also received a warning from the NBA regarding his flop in the final minutes of last night’s game over the Grizzlies.

Kuzma had 20 points off the Lakers bench in last night’s win and appears to be even more comfortable in his role this season with the Lakers after struggling with injuries for a portion of last season.

The Lakers are riding a seven-game win-streak following last night’s win and they’re currently a half-game behind the Utah Jazz for the best record in the NBA. The Lakers are back on the court on Sunday night as they visit another MVP candidate, Nikola Jokic, and the Denver Nuggets.
