Lakers’ LeBron James moves to No. 12 all time on NBA steals list

During the Los Angeles Lakers’ close win against the Houston Rockets Tuesday, star LeBron James moved up on a leaderboard.

James had two steals in 36 minutes of action, which solidified his spot at No. 12 on the NBA’s all-time steals list.

James, who has 2,076 steals in his career, leaped Mookie Blaylock, who collected 2,075 steals over his 13-year career.

The next player James can pass on the list is Karl Malone, who had 2,085 steals in a 19-year career that ended with the Lakers.

James is currently averaging 2.4 steals per game, so he can theoretically pass Malone in the next four to five games and be No. 11 all-time. Alvin Robertson is at No. 10 with 2,112 steals.
